Little Lotte let her mind wander. Little Lotte thought, “Am I fonder of dolls or of goblins or of shoes?”
A while back I bought my first mesh head: LeLutka’s Lotte. It’s an experiment, as I’m rather hooked to my own shape, but I can’t deny it’s gorgeous. I doubted for a long time, until League released a second series of skin appliers for the head and I fell in love.
While playing around with the head, the above text from The Phantom of the Opera came to mind. This in turn inspired me to do a little photoshoot. As I’m not an experienced photographer, I’m still playing around with settings. I’ve noticed FOV is not correct yet, nonetheless I’m very pleased how these shots turned out.
Both shots are raw and were uploaded to Flickr right after being taken.
First a close-up of Lotte with League’s skin Luna in sunkiss. I’ve been hooked to League since forever, and sunkiss is definitely my favorite skin tone. While I was a bit disappointed with Nena Janus’ first set of appliers for LeLutka mesh heads (Milla), I adore Luna. Up close, the detail of the head, with materials on, is stunning. The eyes and eye shine are both part of the FATEeyes v3 package.
MishMish is big provider for the body picture. I liked the idea of someone wondering between two sides, and went for a cute and less-cute side (can’t help it, MishMish is just too adorable). Right now Tutti is wondering about these things while preparing to get dressed up.
So what would you pick, left or right? I still haven’t made up my mind yet.
